“Jehovih” Instead of “Yahweh”?

Question: Why does your Bible and publications use the name “Jehovih” instead of “Jehovah” or “Yahweh”? I have never seen this before. What basis do you have for using this strange spelling? Reply: The form of the Creator’s Name as published in the Oahspe is rendered as “Jehovih.” This can also be found in the Old Testament of Judaism in the form of “Yehovih.” In fact some of our previous publications did use the latter spelling, but for the sake of consistency, we decided it would be best to use the standard Faithist form of “Jehovih.” Faithists have been used to this form of the Eternal Creator’s Name since the publication of the Oahspe Bible.

Standing Up for Ourselves

Brothers and sisters, We should pray for our enemies as we have always been taught. We can be tolerant the mistreatment we receive from others and remain patient, waiting on the Eternal Father to intervene. Sometimes, however, it is important that we use our divinely given right to stand up for ourselves instead of being walked over time and again. Patience is a virtue, but so is valiancy.

When You Have Doubt

If you are having doubts about your faith, pray about it. Do not sit idly by doing nothing about it. Sometimes faith takes courage because of various forms of opposition. In some cases, this opposition is in the form of lower level spirits who do not have your best interests at heart. Pray for protection from such dark spirits. Evaluate what you are doing in your life day to day to see what could possibly be drawing such spirits to you. This is not to say that it always your fault, but it could be because you are associating with someone or have something (an object) in your home that could be drawing such an influence to your environment.
