Observances for 16-22 July 2017
On 16 July we observe the Holy Memorial. On Tuesday, the 18, we observe the 3rd Quarter Moon in addition to the weekday Sabbath. As a reminder, the Universal Absolution begins on Tuesday, 25 July.
Observances for 9-15 July 2017
On the 11th of July, Essene Faithists observe the weekly Sabbath (each Tuesday). We also rest with our brethren who observe the seventh-day Sabbath on Saturday, 15 July.
Observances for 1 – 8 July 2017
On Saturday, 1 July, we share in Sabbath observance with our brethren who celebrate the day of rest on the seventh day of the week. The Faithist Sabbath is on 4 July, along with the celebration of Independence Day (for Faithists in America).
This week’s observances 25 – 30 June 2017
This evening is a Holy Memorial for Essene Faithists. A single candle is lit and prayers are said concerning the faithful and others who have passed away. Our next weekly Sabbath is on the 27th. The 1st Quarter Moon is on the 30th.
